Reach out and touch somebody’s hand…

Any 80s babies out there?

The Muppets WERE my childhood.

Animal and Gonzo were my favourites because they just didn’t fit the mould and allowed themselves to be weird; they were best friends, they were as thick as thieves.

It reminds me of Jesse, an old childhood friend, the first real friend I ever made.

We randomly, once in a while, say hi or check in. I will probably email him this blog after I publish it. Hi Jess! :) x

Back to Muppets, the 80s cartoon was so lit. It combined live TV with animation; this was way before “Who Framed Roger Rabbit” was made in ’88, the Muppet Babies kicked off in ‘84.

I always wondered what happened during the creative process? Like the stories and how they combined movies with the animation was insane.

Thanks to the creativity of Japanese-based Toei animation (Season 1–3) and Korean-based AKOM Productions.

Here’s my favourite episode, the Invasion of the Muppet Snackers. For this episode, the movies they used were the cult classic “The Blob” (1958), Oliver!, and other familiar cheesy 80 bits.

Howie Mandel did some of the voices; they had this old clip on YT where they showed behind the scenes of the Muppet Babies; I nearly geeked out to death. But it was funny seeing Howie with hair!

Now without a doubt, Ms Ross is the boss lady, you know, with everything going on with World, right when I think — maybe the Pandemic was the “ultimate” reboot, I stand corrected by Putin. Stay strong, Ukraine.

The World is watching; citizen journalism is not dead. And not all Russians support him, bring on the peace.

I want to soak up these lyrics this week, next week, next year for the rest of my days on earth. (minus the actual touching for those who are still concerned, personal space is always respected)

Suppose we did this as one kind gesture. In that case, we would have enough positive energy to get us through the best of times and worse of times; although I’m not one not to process or acknowledge negative energy, you can learn from it too, it sharpens your intuition, but once you recognise it, I usually replace it with a happy memory or some funny prank I once pulled.
