I remember in 2012, this was my jam, by my very dear friend Casey Rain. I think I pretty much dedicated this to any of my crushes back in 2012.

Casey gave us the gift of NeoFunk and with all the “funky” events happening around the world, I can still get lost in this song.

I remember asking him, who was this dedicated for? And he gave me his sweet, yet cheeky grin and said “Lady Gaga” brilliant! I can’t help to think about her character from the House of Gucci, swagging to this song. Too bad Ripley Scott didn’t know this interesting tidbit.

Casey and Kim, the dynamic duo of the Violet Reality are my dear friends. Casey introduced me to veganism, even though I’m not vegan, I appreciate a vegan treat or a nice plant based meal (low carb please).

We went to the Wolverhampton Vegan Festival, it was so much fun, I can’t wait for them to kick off again.

When I first met Kim, I was heading to my favourite playground, Amsterdam. She made this cute request, this peach tea. I tried some it was quite nice. I remember bringing several boxes back, because I know what it’s like to long for something from your hometown.

I remember missing the “mission burritos” low and behold, a restaurant in the UK opened up, called you guessed it “Mission Burritos” and tribute to San Francisco and our beautiful multicultural and diverse neighbourhood, the Mission District.

We stuffed our faces silly!

As I’m rebranding this blog, celebrating people in my life, I’m hoping for those who know me as “Petz415 from eToro” you can see there’s much more to me than my analytical thinking, analysing and just writing about stocks I’m passionate about. So I welcome you here to my world where randomness and weirdness is celebrated and embraced. You’re safe here.

Casey is my Neofunk and shining armor. In my formative years, not really realizing, the internet is written in ink, not a pencil. I got into a “knife fight” was a an artist who came at me sideways because my sexuality. It got ugly, but Casey was right by my side, on standby. I will never forget that.

I’ve matured a little bit, to me I would personally like to take the convo offline, especially if someone was being homophobic. I’m more curious where does it come from? Why are you afraid? Can we talk?

I don’t take it as an attack with me, but I search for an opportunity to have an open dialogue. It could get me into trouble, but we share the same planet, we may not have to like each other, but it doesn't mean we can’t co-exist. Although if my 2012 self was to read this, she would probably think I’m nuts. Because she was a little too sharp to jump the gun, instead of pause, reflect and articulate her feelings.

But thank you Casey and Kim for the years of friendship, may we all celebrate more laughs and thought-provoking discussions. Lots of love and good vibes to you both.
